![]() It is very much a “you will come here to sleep and work” type hotel. In terms of a conference hotel? I would give it three out of five. I would give it four out of five stars in general. Overall, this hotel is clean, comfortable, and decent. ![]() My feedback below is based on those experiences and comparing my hotel experience here to others I have gone to for conferences for years. Hotel I will preface this by saying that I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and I go to conferences all the time. Advised reception of this happening and they didn't seem to really care. Why anyone had entered the room before we had even checked out we will never know. We walked in the room to the most awful smell, someone had used the toilet and left it very unpleasant. Can I also add before we checked out we took our cases down to the car, came back up to ensure we had everything and a towel was wedged in our room door. Were booked again already for December but may consider switching to the Hyatt Regency across the street after last weeks experience. That is terrible to say we paid for a 4 star hotel and all the main amenities were closed. So we were left celebrating with plastic cups in a pool bar. This seems very unfair when we paid the same high price as everyone else who is there when the Everglades Restaurant and bar is open. When we asked why everything was closed they were told the hotel was not at full occupancy so they decided to only keep the pool bar open. We basically got left with one choice, the pool bar that closed at 10pm. The Everglades Restaurant was closed the whole time. This time, we didn't have the usual amazing experience at all. We were celebrating our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary plus John's retirement. The whole family stay there twice a year every year for well over 10 years now.
